Stereoplacer is designed for direct manipulation of frequencies in the
stereo image. Each of the four channels can be tuned to affect a specific
frequency as with a traditional parametric EQ. Once tuned, the frequencies
can be moved within the stereo field. Useful for adjusting an existing
stereo signal or adding stereo depth to a mono signal. The tunable nature
makes this especially suited to adjusting percussion signals.

Visualizer is a comprehensive and flexible FFT audio analyser designed to
allow access to a full range of audio analysis views via a single resizable
interface, using a unique intelligent window system to manage the controls
and screen layout.

Setting ASIO Driver

Postingan ini akan membahas sedikit tips dan trick untuk mengatasi masalah Latency pada saat Tracking (take) dengan menggunakan ASIO driver

gambar di atas adalah settingan untuk ASIO OFFLINE, pada Soundcard yg aktif adalah Soundcard yang kita pakai, dan setting ASIO buffer Size, makin besar Buffer Size maka makin kecil potensi terjadi Latency dengan pertimbangan Pendinginan pada Hardware (Soundcard) kudu terjamin

Nah gambar dibawah ini menunjukkan Settingan penggunaan ASIO driver pada Adobe Audition 3, settingan ini aku gunakan dan selama ini tidak terjadi Latency

Satu lagi VSTi yg aku mw share di posting ini yaitu Motu Mach Five 1.02 VSTi
Berikut beberapa penjelasan tentang VSTi ini :

MOTU has announced that it has updated BPM (Beat Production Machine) to v1.02. This new version introduces more new features, including Step Sequencer shortcuts and abilities, MIDI beat clock sync, MIDI modulation, expanded Metronome controls and One Shot pads.

Overview of the new features:

* Loading slice loops into banks: you can now drag & drop a slice loop onto a bank to automatically load individual slices onto the bank's 16 pads.
* One shot pads: "one shot" means that the entire sample will play (note-off info is ignored). One-shot operation is perfect for triggering samples that you don't want to get cut off when they play, such as snare hits.
* Step Sequencer enhancement: you can now copy the pattern in any step sequencer line and paste it to another line.
* Double Resolution: this new step sequencer feature lets you quickly double the resolution of the step grid. For example, you could start programming with a 16th note grid, but later switch to a 32nd note grid for finer resolution. The pattern plays the same, you just get better resolution - in one easy step.

* Preview volume slider: you can now control the volume of preview playback in the browser.
* Enhanced metronome: you can now turn the metronome on or off as desired and control its volume.
* Beat clock sync: the stand-alone version of BPM now resolves to incoming Beat Clock.
* MIDI modulation: BPM parameters can now be controlled with MIDI modulation, similar to MOTU's other instrument products.

Mixer Channel Send (Newbie Only)

Yup . . kali ini ak mo ngebahas tentang CHANNEL SEND di Mixer Fruity Loop yang kadang masih belum digunakan BAHKAN gag tau gunanya (parah stadium akhir) LOL

OK, biasanya pemakaian FX instrumen pada Mixer sering kali FXnya sama, misal Instrumen Snare dikenai REVERB, Hi-HAT juga REVERB yang membedakan hanya threshold (seberapa besar dikenai FX)

Nah disini ak mo sedikit kasih tips solusi untuk masalah tersebut (not for expert)
1. Klik Chanel Send pada Mixer dan beri FX Reverb
2. Rename Channel SEND tadi menjadi REVERB biar memudahkan
3. klik Channel Instrumen yg mw dikenai FX Reverb
4. Nah . . . Saat CHANNEL INSTRUMENT di Klik, maka pada Bagian bawah CHANNEL SEND (REVERB) ada Knob to Reverb, atur seberapa besar Instrument itu dikenai FX Reverb



5. Lakukan hal yg sama pada instrument lain yg akan dikenai FX reverb

Mixing Kick dengan Fruity Free Filter

Ok . . . kali ini ak mo sedikit sharing tentang efek Free Filter dan EQUO,
di Posting ini ak pake 2 efek itu pada instrument KICK, yang pasti EQUO disini sebagai paragraphic EQ sekaligus Spectrum Analyzer sebelum dan sesudah instrumen dikenai efek Free Filter . . . yuk langsung saja :

2. Beri Efek Fruity Free Filter dan EQUO

Kenapa ??

Lihat indikator Free Filter posisi OFF, Spectrum di EQUO nunjukin lox KICK itu bekerja di FREQ sekitar 60Hz, so kita set Fruity Filter pada Freq sekitar 60Hz juga.
knob Q : fungsi sama seperti Q pada Equalizer
knob Type : fungsi sama seperti method EQualizer contoh Low pass, band pass, high pass dll
Gain : fungsi sama seperti Gain pada umumnya, disini yg dikenai GAIN adalah pada Frequensi yg di set pada knob FREQ

Lihat gambar setelah indikator Free Filter di ON kan :

Nah kelihatan banget bedanya dengan sebelum dikenai Free Filter
